How to create products on the shop

How to Add and Manage Products in Your Shop #

1. Start by adding a new product 0:00

• After creating your categories, go to the shop’s Add Product button.
• This is where you’ll create each item you want members to purchase.
• Example used in the video: a competition t-shirt.

2. Enter the product details 0:22

• Add the product name.
• Write a description for the item.
• Choose the correct category for the product.
  • Example: the t-shirt is placed under Uniform.
• If your shop has a different category like Competition, you can use that instead.

3. Decide whether the product has variants 0:40

• Turn on Has Variants if the product comes in different options such as:
  • sizes
  • colours
  • styles
• This is useful for items like t-shirts that come in multiple sizes.
• Set the price for the product.
• Optionally add an image.

4. Set product availability and stock tracking 0:47

• Use the Active toggle to control whether members can see and buy the product.
  • Turn it off if the item is not ready for sale yet.
• Turn on Track Stock if you want to manage inventory.
• This helps you monitor how many items are available.

5. Add variants for products with multiple options 1:13

• Add each variant separately.
• Example variants for the t-shirt:
  • Small
  • Medium
• For each variant, enter:
  • price
  • sale price, if applicable
  • stock quantity
• Click Add to create another variant.
• When finished, click Save Product.

6. Review and edit variant pricing or sale status 1:44

• Once saved, the product appears in the product list.
• You can expand the product to see:
  • available variants
  • stock levels
  • prices
• To put a variant on sale, click Edit and update the sale cost.
• The product view will then show which variant is discounted.

7. Add a single-item product without variants 2:23

• For products that do not need sizes or options, create a single item product.
• Example used in the video: a water bottle.
• Enter the product details:
  • name
  • price
  • photo
  • category
  • stock quantity
• Make sure the product is Active and in stock.
• Save the product to add it to the shop.

8. Delete products when needed 3:08

• If a product is no longer needed, click Delete.
• This removes the product from the product list in the system.
