1. Club & Coach led Extra-Curricular Clubs #

  • Definition: A gymnastics club is defined as any arrangement where a club or coach collects fees directly from each child and rents space from a school. Gymnasts are covered for 2 Free taster sessions then the requirements below must be met.
  • Requirements:
    • All participating children must be registered in the GCS portal during the period of participation.
    • Coaches must be registered as a free roam coach in the GCS portal during the period of use.
    • Club must be registered with GCS.

2. School-led Extra-Curricular Clubs #

  • Definition: When a school organises an extracurricular club and hires a coach (or club) to teach, paying them directly for their services.
  • Requirements:
    • The school should have insurance coverage to protect children in the event of an accident.
    • The coach should hold a “Free roam Coach” membership.
    • This membership provides coverage for the coach in the event of a claim against them.

3. School Lessons #

  • Definition: When a school hires a coach (or club) to conduct school lessons, paying the coach or club directly
  • Insurance Responsibility:
    • The school must have insurance coverage to protect children in case of an accident.
    • Clubs must purchase a “Free roam Coach” membership for the coach. This membership provides coverage for the coach or club in the event of a claim against them.
